The Logo
Structure
The logo uses the letters “A,” “J,” and “A” as dominant elements, with the ampersand (&) stylized within a central graphic. This creates a balanced, three-part design.
The letters "A" and "J" use a serif typeface (like a classic Roman or transitional style).
Serifs are historically associated with tradition, stability and professionalism, which is highly suitable for a professional firm that deals with legal and corporate compliance. The slightly flared serifs give the design a sense of established gravitas and permanence.
The ampersand is placed inside a solid black circle, acting as the visual centrepiece and a stylized replacement for the second "A" (or as the separator between the two parts of the name).
It is a stylized, classic flourish that adds a touch of sophistication and connection, symbolizing partnership and the comprehensive nature of the firm's services.
The circle suggests completeness, unity, and perpetual service, implying the firm covers all necessary governance aspects.
Colours and Significance
The logo uses a colour palette consisting of two shades of orange/sienna and black, which evoke a mix of warmth, energy, and professionalism
The deeper, richer shade used for 'A' and 'J' (on the left) is close to burnt orange or sienna. This color family conveys warmth, quality, and a serious, mature energy. It is less aggressive than a bright red but still projects confidence and creativity—suggesting a firm that is dynamic but also reliable.
The brighter, lighter orange used for the final 'A' adds a flash of optimism, clarity, and approachability. This suggests the firm is also focused on clear communication and is forward-thinking in its solutions. It acts as an energetic highlight.
Black is the ultimate color of professionalism, authority, and substance. It grounds the design and provides strong contrast. In a corporate context, black signifies seriousness, gravitas, and expertise—qualities vital for a firm handling critical legal and governance responsibilities
Message
The logo successfully combines traditional typography and a black authoritative symbol with a warm, energetic orange palette. The design conveys that the company is stable, professional, and trustworthy (serifs and black) while also being dynamic, clear, and proactive (the shades of orange)
